Some horses leave an impression long before you ever meet them. Tyga Hanover is one of those horses.

Tyga is a remarkably accomplished Standardbred who earned more than $560,000 during his racing career and stood in the winner's circle 32 times. Those numbers tell the story of an exceptional athlete, but they only tell part of who Tyga really is.

Today, Tyga is enjoying a very different kind of life at Believe Beyond the Finish Line.

Away from the racetrack, Tyga is proving to be every bit as special in his personality as he was in competition. He is a kind, affectionate, and personable gelding who genuinely enjoys human attention. There is a quietness about him that makes him an absolute pleasure to have around, and he has settled into his new surroundings beautifully.

For a horse who spent years with a very structured life centered around racing, retirement is a time to slow down and discover what comes next. Tyga will have all the time he needs to settle in, enjoy his new home, and simply experience life as a horse without the pressure of competition.

His future will include trail riding and flat work as we gradually introduce him to his next chapter. There is no timeline to meet and nothing to prove. We will allow Tyga to build confidence, learn at his own pace, and show us who he wants to become.

He has already accomplished more on the racetrack than most horses could ever dream of. Now, we're looking forward to helping him discover the rewards of a life beyond the finish line.
